Nate Kerksick applies multidisciplinary design to drive real-world impact. He designed Obama ‘08s web ads in Chicago, ran a product & brand design studio in Brooklyn, art directed digital campaigns at Ogilvy Paris, and was the founding designer for Change.org, the world’s largest petition platform. He’s lived in eight cities across four countries; was raised in Milwaukee, and indoctrinated into concerned citizenship by parents who met working for Cesar Chavez. Today Nate lives in San Francisco where he leads Social Impact design at Facebook. He has a degree in Interactive Art Direction from Hyper Island in Sweden, and teaches Civic Design at California College for the Arts.
